Student and Teacher Program

Terms and Conditions

Toon Boom Animation offers discounts on software to “Eligible Individuals” for academic use through our Student and Teacher Program (the “Program”) according to these Terms and Conditions.

By participating in the Program you represent you are eligible and acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms (in addition to our License Agreements).


The Program allows eligible individuals to purchase software licenses or desktop subscriptions to certain Toon Boom software at a discount at our online store found here:

The Program shall continue until terminated by Toon Boom Animation. We reserve the right to change the Program, including criteria for eligibility, at any time and without restriction.


Eligible individuals must meet the following criteria:

  1. To be eligible, you must be enrolled full-time or be a faculty or staff member at an accredited primary or secondary school, college, university, school district or board of education. Accredited schools must be identifiable through groups such as The United States-based Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the ENIC network.
  2. Examples of institutions that are not covered in the Program include museums, libraries, online schools who are not accredited, vocational schools who are not accredited and government instructional agencies who are not accredited. This list is not exhaustive.

We reserve to independently verify your academic status, and contact you directly.

Software Offered

We offer the following software through the Program:

  1. Toon Boom Harmony (You can purchase a single license of any Harmony edition offered, and you may upgrade from one Harmony edition to another as needs change. At any given time you can only be subscribed to a single Harmony edition.)
  2. Toon Boom Storyboard Pro (You can purchase or subscribe to a single license of Storyboard Pro.)
